University of Connecticut – Avery Point

University of Connecticut-Avery Point is one of the ten public 4-year colleges in Connecticut. The campus is located in a suburb, in Groton.

According to the NCES 2017 report, a total of 657 students attend the school. In the 2017 fall enrollment, 215 freshman students enrolled, and approximately 185 students returned for their sophomore year (which makes its freshman retention rate 86%).
