University of Alaska Fairbanks

University of Alaska Fairbanks is one of the four public 4-year colleges in Alaska. The campus is located in a suburb, in Fairbanks.

According to the NCES 2017 report, a total of 7,664 students attend the school. In the 2017 fall enrollment, 804 freshman students enrolled, and approximately 619 students returned for their sophomore year (which makes its freshman retention rate 77%). Every year 30% of the graduating class students graduate in 150% of the time it takes to complete their studies.

University of Alaska Fairbanks’s in-state tuition for the 2017-2018 academic year was $4,848, and fees were $1,414. Out-of-state tuition and fees for the same period were $17,160 and $2,023 respectively.
