The University of Texas of the Permian Basin

The University of Texas of the Permian Basin is one of the forty-three public 4-year colleges in Texas. The campus is located in an urban area, in Odessa.

According to the NCES 2017 report, a total of 7,022 students attend the school. In the 2017 fall enrollment, 445 freshman students enrolled, and approximately 294 students returned for their sophomore year (which makes its freshman retention rate 66%). Every year 43% of the graduating class students graduate in 150% of the time it takes to complete their studies.

The University of Texas of the Permian Basin’s in-state tuition for the 2017-2018 academic year was $4,529, and fees were $1,253. Out-of-state tuition and fees for the same period were $5,369 and $1,253 respectively.
